Delegation of Luen Mei Group and Subsidiary Battery Science & Technology Visits China EV100

On May 6, a delegation from Luen Mei Group and Battery Science & Technology, a subsidiary of Luen Mei Group, visited China EV100. The delegation was led by Luen Mei Group Vice President Weihui XU, General Manager of Luen Mei Group’s Brand Management Center Yingli MAI, and Executive Vice President of Battery Science & Technology Yawei JIAO. They were warmly received by Yongwei ZHANG, vice chairman and secretary-general of China EV100, Erman XU, vice secretary-general of China EV100, and personnel from relevant departments.

During the exchange, Weihui XU provided an overview of Luen Mei Group’s diversified development in sectors such as integrated energy, new energy, real estate operations, mass consumption, technological innovation, and industrial-financial services. The presentation highlighted Battery Science & Technology’s advances in the niche field of power battery recycling and dismantling within the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry. The company’s green and low-carbon recycling and dismantling technology will help build a responsible and sustainable supply chain for China’s NEV industry as large numbers of power batteries are expected to retire, bolster the “Made in China” image, empower sustainable and healthy development of the industry, and foster genuine green competitiveness.

Yongwei ZHANG welcomed the delegation from Luen Mei Group and Battery Science & Technology. He noted that as the NEV industry evolves, power battery recycling, dismantling, and reuse are gaining increasing market attention. China EV100 is deeply committed to the sustainable development of China’s NEV industry. By conducting industry development research, facilitating communication and cooperation among enterprises in the industry chain, and establishing service platforms, China EV100 aims to promote the coordinated development and international collaboration of the NEV industry chain.
