Stockstar: Mega-info Media Expands and Optimizes 83 Station Resources, Strengthening Competitive Edge

Release Time:2024-09

On August 23, Mega-info Media (301102.SZ) released its 2024 semi-annual report. The report revealed that the company achieved revenue of CNY321 million in the first half of the year, representing a year-on-year increase of 25.84%, with a net profit of CNY41 million attributable to the parent company.

During the reporting period, Mega-info Media added media resources at 49 new locations, including arrival gates of Chengdu West Railway Station and Beijing South Railway Station, and optimized media resources at 34 additional locations, further solidifying its industry leadership. Simultaneously, the company accelerated its secondary business line with robust digital expansion. It introduced the dual-location “high-speed rail + commercial district” campaign for the brand “Power Dekor” with the case study “Take Home”, showcasing its superior capabilities in digital outdoor media marketing.

Mega-info Media has signed media resource use agreements with all 18 China Railway local group companies in China, covering 31 provincial-level administrative regions. It has agreements with 564 railway passenger stations, of which 509 stations are operational, with more than 97% being high-speed rail stations (including EMUs). The company operates 5,310 digital media screens, reaching an annual passenger flow of over 2 billion, making it one of the most extensive digital media operators in the high-speed rail advertising sector.

In addition to steady growth in high-speed rail digital media advertising, Mega-info Media has actively expanded its presence in commercial district digital outdoor media. It has launched outdoor naked-eye 3D screens in prominent commercial districts, such as Tianhe Road in Guangzhou, Qinxian Street in Taiyuan, Penshuichi in Guiyang, Chunxi Road in Chengdu, Wangfujing in Beijing, and Luohu MixC in Shenzhen. These displays provide a vaster space for urban culture and commercial artistic expression and have attracted notable brands like Huawei, Moutai, Guizhou Xijiu, Mizone, China UnionPay, and Nongfu Spring.

Market analysts predict that as the outdoor advertising industry flourishes with the strong support of digital technologies, Mega-info Media’s value in the offline travel scenario will continue to rise. With traditional peak travel seasons such as National Day and Spring Festival on the horizon, the company is expected to see both volume and price increases in its outdoor advertising business, driving accelerated growth in its performance.
