Securities Times：Luen Mei Quantum releases its half-year report deepen national strategic expansion

On the evening of August 30, Luen Mei Quantum (600167.SH) released its interim performance report. In the first half of 2023, the company achieved an operating income of RMB1.853 billion, a net profit of RMB594 million attributable to shareholders of the listed company, and a net profit of RMB614 million attributable to shareholders of the listed company, excluding non-recurring gains and losses. With RMB7.5 billion in cash and cash equivalents on hand, the company continues its “high profitability, ample cash, and generous dividends”, the characteristics displayed in previous years, demonstrating a strong operational resilience.

As a company committed to the philosophy of “clean, efficient, smart, and low-carbon development”, Luen Mei Quantum released its “Integrated Energy Strategy Upgrade Roadmap” in 2021. Since then, the company has striven to push ahead with and achieve its carbon neutrality goal through four paths: developing low-carbon technologies for energy conservation and emissions reduction, conducting integrated energy business, exploring the electric energy storage market, and establishing a presence in the hydrogen industry. In recent years, alongside new opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and refined management, Luen Mei Quantum has expanded its nationwide strategic deployment for integrated energy.

The performance report reveals that as of June 30, 2023, Luen Mei Quantum owns 53 authorized patents, including 12 invention patents, 40 utility model patents, and 1 software copyright. The company is also involved in 6 research projects. It holds numerous patents in such areas as fixed-bed boiler staged combustion technology, multi-tube water surface self-excited shockwave flue gas treatment technology, distributed clean energy and centralized heating co-generation technology, heat exchanger self-cleaning technology, and intelligent sub-room temperature control and statistics devices. Luen Mei Quantum is developing proprietary technologies with independent intellectual property rights in areas like heat supply network balancing, heat supply network automatic control, and low calorific heat utilization, all of which are at the forefront of the domestic market.

In 2023, Luen Mei Quantum will continue to leverage its technical expertise and management experience to implement a series of landmark integrated energy operation projects, further solidifying its position as an integrated energy service provider driven by technological innovation.
