Battery Science & Technology was awarded the Outstanding Practice Award for Green Low-carbon Corporate Development

Release Time:2023-06

From May 20 to 22, the 2023 China Quality Development Summit Forum for Used Battery Recycling Industry and the Annual Meeting of the Association was held in Quzhou, Zhejiang. Battery Science & Technology was invited to give a keynote speech to introduce the smart interconnected zero-carbon solution that contributes to the sustainable development of the lithium industry, and received the Outstanding Practice Award for Green Low-carbon Corporate Development.

Sponsored by ATCRR, the summit forum adheres to the theme of "empowering carbon peak/neutral with power batteries · gathering talents to create a green recycling future". In the presence of leaders from authoritative departments such as the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and China National Resources Recycling Association, experts of the power battery field, and representatives of leading enterprises on the industrial chain, the forum discussed the green, low-carbon and recycling development of the power battery industry and other hot topics. It aims to summarize the experience, improve the industrial technology development route, build a standard system, strengthen the top-level design, and explore the new path of high-quality development of the power battery industry against the carbon peak/neutral objectives through on-site seminars and results display.

As the leader of domestic power battery recyclers, Battery Science & Technology has invariably sought green low-carbon development, adhered to the goal of "zero Battery Science & Technology, and smart Battery Science & Technology", promoted the "green production + intelligent manufacture", implemented the ESG practice and "green factory" philosophy, and continued its innovation in green technologies.

To date, Battery Science & Technology has been included in the white list of power battery gradient utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and become a key maker of national standards for power battery recycling. It has drafted 8 national standards, owned 22 patented technologies, and obtained 7 patents. Its core patented technology of multi-level utilization and "dried" dismantling utilization of power batteries enables physical crushing without power discharging. With the entire production line set in a closed environment and the emitted gas treated the RTO way, it realizes an automated control, produces no wastewater, and performs centralized disposal of exhaust, thus truly idealizing resource use, recovering carbon and eliminating pollution.
