Mega-info Media expands its “second growth curve” into Beijing, as a large LED screen is installed in Wangfujing business district

Mega-info Media (301102.SZ) has expanded its business of large LED screens in urban business districts into Beijing. On September 19, in the Wangfujing business district, a 653-square-meter LED screen was officially unveiled by Mega-info Media. This marks the sixth “landmark LED screen” deployed by Mega-info Media in first-tier and new first-tier cities, following its previous installations in two major business districts, namely Chengdu’s Chunxi Road business district and Chongqing’s Guanyin Bridge business district. Mega-info Media’s “second growth curve” is gaining momentum and has now displayed the advantage of significant scale.

The large LED screen created by Mega-info Media for the Wangfujing Pedestrian Street in Beijing is situated at the core landmark of Wangfujing business district—Wangfujing Department Store, the “first department store in new China”. This 653-square-meter seamless right-angle box features industry-leading P6 fine-pitch screens, providing an ideal space for presenting digital creative content and delivering a breathtaking glasses-free 3D sensory experience.

Wangfujing Pedestrian Street in Beijing is a famous commercial pedestrian street with a history spanning several hundred years. Renowned as the “Number One Street in China”, it is home to upscale shopping malls such as Wangfujing Department Store, WF CENTRAL, and apm. This area, boasting a vibrant commercial atmosphere, is a gathering place for luxury brands, fashionable and affluent consumers as well as business elites. It is hence known as a symbolic place in Beijing. In recent years, the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau has repeatedly noted that this area will be built into a world-class business district with a market size exceeding one hundred billion yuan, and an internationally renowned business street with unique characteristics.

According to data from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, during the May Day holiday in 2023, Wangfujing International Business District demonstrated a significant brand impact, consistently ranking as the “most popular travel destination in Beijing” with a daily reception of around 300,000 visitors.

The LED screen placed by Mega-info Media at Wangfujing Department Store leverages the distinct competitive advantages of the century-old top business district in Beijing. This expansion further strengthens Mega-info Media’s reach in core business districts of first-tier and new first-tier cities across China. With its gradually improved smart media ecosystem, Mega-info Media is creating limitless possibilities for its future development.

To date, Mega-info Media has established large glasses-free 3D screens in Guangzhou’s Tianhe Road business district, Taiyuan’s Qinxian Street business district, Guiyang’s Fountain Pool business district, Chengdu’s Chunxi Road business district, and Chongqing’s Guanyin Bridge business district, with the sizes of 1,400 square meters, 550 square meters, 1,536 square meters, 1,505 square meters, and 1,836 square meters, respectively. These screens have attracted the advertisement placement of many well-known brands, such as Dior, Tiffany, Pepsi, Polestar, Yili, and PICC, among others.
