Guizhou Anjiu Honored as Green Factory, Continuing to Advance Eco-friendly Brewing for Sustainable Development

On January 1, 2024, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of green manufacturing enterprises in Guizhou Province for the year 2023. Guizhou Anjiu was awarded the title of Green Factory of 2023, further solidifying the ecological foundation of the Moutai-flavor Baijiu industry, and continuing to promote the high-quality and sustainable development of Guizhou Anjiu in the Chishui Liquor Base.

For long, as one of Guizhou's two famous historic Baijiu brands, Guizhou Anjiu has consistently upheld the belief in harmonious coexistence with the natural environment. It regards "gratitude to nature, low-carbon circulation, clean production, and green development" as its core ecological concept. Guizhou Anjiu is committed to becoming a green benchmark in the CNY100 billion-worth Xishui production area. It has leveraged its strong green competitiveness to promote the overall ecological efficiency enhancement of the industry chain and industrial clusters, thereby contributing to the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.

In 2023, Guizhou Anjiu collaborated with the All-China Environment Federation to launch the "Chishui River Water Resources Protection Project". This initiative aims to lead the sustainable development framework covering both banks of the Chishui River Basin, translating the group's green development strategy into specific actions for the integrated development of industry and ecological environment. It will further drive the green and low-carbon transformation of the entire Moutai-flavor Baijiu industry and even more industries along both banks of the Chishui River, promoting the sustainable development of the region along the banks of the Chishui River.
