Battery Science & Technology and XCMG Xinhuan Forge Strategic Partnership to Jointly Develop Green Battery Recycling Industry

Recently, Battery Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (“Battery Science & Technology” for short), a subsidiary of Luen Mei Group, and Xuzhou XCMG Xinghuan Environment Technology Co., Ltd. ("XCMG Xinhuan" for short), signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Xuzhou.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Qiang FU, President of Battery Science & Technology, and Ms. Guilan YUAN, General Manager of XCMG Xinhuan, on behalf of respective parties. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Yawei JIAO, Executive Vice President of Battery Science & Technology, Mr. Ning WEI, Director of Project Development Department, and Mr. Wang LIU, Director of Technical Management Department of XCMG Xinhuan, and other officials.

Both parties expressed their commitment to jointly promoting the low-carbon circulation and resource utilization of retired power batteries both domestically and internationally. They will cooperate comprehensively on extending the responsibilities of domestic and international retired power battery producers within XCMG and on building recycling channel networks.

Battery Science & Technology and XCMG Xinhuan enjoy broad prospects for cooperation. Starting with the establishment of this strategic partnership, and guided by common strategic objectives, both parties will leverage their respective advantages and deepen cooperation in industrial chain interaction. They will collaborate in various areas, including retired power battery recycling, material resource utilization, joint third-party cell factory for DFR/DFE, full-chain low-carbon and carbon footprint tracing, and the establishment of retired power battery recycling and resource utilization bases both domestically and internationally. Together, they aim to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes, while jointly promoting the sustainable development of the new energy industry and enhancing green development capabilities.
